Membership details:

- Upgrade to a more than 2 books at a time membership by paying a fully refundable deposit of Rs. 350 per book. Unlimited books can be borrowed at a time this way.

How many books do we have?
We have over 2,000 titles (not counting multiple copies of popular books). We add new books every week, which comes to about 150 books every month. There’s never a wait list—if you want a book, we simply buy another copy for you at no extra cost.
How many members do we have?
We currently have 370 members. Our happiest members (about 30% of the total) are those who keep a larger deposit (₹350/book) and issue more books at a time. They need to visit less often and their children read more books. Kids are so busy these days that to get the full benefit of the library, we highly recommend signing up for a 4-book (or more) membership. The yearly fee is just ₹900, regardless of how many books you issue, and you can always switch to fewer books anytime during your membership and your deposit will be returned to you at the time of switching.
How soon do you need to return the books?
There is no deadline. You can keep the books as long as you like and read at your own pace.
How many times can you exchange books in a month?
You can come to exchange books unlimited times at the library.
Do we have books for adults?
While the library is marketed as a children’s library—our motto being to keep children away from screens—we also order books for parents fulfilling all requests. Often, after watching their children read, parents pick up a book for themselves too. We have a non-fiction section with self-help, business, and biography titles.
What makes us the best library in Pune?
We buy the books you want to read at no extra cost (just ₹900/year, that’s just ₹75/month) . This has helped our collection grow beautifully—avid readers bring in the latest bestsellers, while non-avid readers quickly develop a love for reading thanks to access to bestsellers. Our collection is unlike what you find at book fairs (preloved book market), because we stock the latest published titles in popular series like Dogman, Wimpy Kid, Tom Gates, Ella Diaries, and more, which are not available preloved.
